GOST 209-75  Rubber and Glue. Methods of Determination of Metal Bond Strength at Tearing

 

GOST 209-75 applies to rubber and glue and establishes methods for determining the strength of their connection with the metal during separation.

The essence of the method is to measure the force required to break the bond between the surfaces of rubber, glue and metal, interconnected; the force must be

perpendicular or at an angle to the surface of the joint.
