ISO 10334 – Tension Bending Torsion Suture Wire Test Equipment

 

ISO 10334 – Specifies the dimensions and mechanical properties along with test methods for malleable wires used in sutures and other surgical applications.

The mechanical properties specified are tensile strength, elongation, and resistance to damage in bending and in torsion. Surface finish is not covered in this standard.
